Australia Day 2008
Penrith Olympic Regatta Centre, Sydney, Australia
Fused FX worked along side Howard & Sons Pyrotechnics in Penrith for the Australia Day celebrations.
A fantastic opportunity for Fused FX to work alongside one of the "Big Boys" in the industry, to see their processes and methods in action. We rigged in 37 degrees, not a breath of wind and just knowing there were hundreds of snakes around us made for an interesting day.
NZI Rugby Sevens, Westpac Stadium, Wellington
Fused FX were asked to build 3 x Floats for the parade and the corporate area onfield at the stadium for this year's IRB Rugby Sevens tournament. Our clients gave us the theme and Fused Fx designed and built in our workshops these set elements. Many hours of cutting grinding, welding and putting together these structures kept us busy and the workshop full for many weeks.
Skytower, New Year Eve, Auckland
THE FIRST TELEVISED FIREWORKS DISPLAY IN THE WORLD THIS YEAR!
Fused FX were back on top of the Sky Tower. From our previous experience of the massive structure, we tried variations on products and different angles, the end result was fantastic. We basically fired candles on the horizontal and the view from the upper observation level was amazing for the boys up there firing the show.
Carols By Candlelight, Basin Reserve, Wellington
Nick Tansley's annual event was this year staged at the Basin Reserve. We provided staging, lighting and fireworks for this very popular Christmas event.
